Due to COVID-19 many live music venues across the country are closed and the artists who depended on them are now performing from their homes to stay connected to fans. Empty Space Project has partnered with Thunderbird Cafe & Music Hall to utilize their building while it’s empty, filling the void, bringing life back to the artist community. Empty Space Project will be filming artists performances live in the music hall without an audience and releasing the footage online.
“We’ve expanded on what we originally created,” said Pergal. “Our main goal with these renovations was first and foremost to create a space that is great for both the performer and the patron. From sight lines to acoustics, hospitality to entertainment, the overall concert experience will be enhanced.”
